A star for each character
Each letter, space, or symbol becomes a star. Its character code and position in your phrase determine where it appears. Changing the order of your words changes the map.
A little sky of your own
Turn a name, a memory, or a small wish into a pattern of stars.
Your constellation will appear here.

From letters to light
Each letter, space, or symbol becomes a star. Its character code and position in your phrase determine where it appears. Changing the order of your words changes the map.
Starting with the first star, the generator repeatedly connects the nearest unconnected star to the growing pattern. This minimum spanning tree joins the stars without forming loops.
The calculation is repeatable: the same text produces the same star positions and connections. Capital letters become lowercase and spaces at the beginning and end are removed.
The background sky is decorative. Your generated stars use fixed coordinates, so the pattern scales to fit your screen. Some characters can land close together or overlap; the formula creates playful patterns, not a unique identifier.
Make something personal
Try your full name, then a shorter version. Notice which early stars stay in place and how the connections change when you add characters.
Use a phrase such as “a new beginning” or “our first summer.” Download the resulting art for a personal digital keepsake or a message to a friend.
Compare “moon light” with “light moon.” The same letters occupy different positions in the input, so they create a different arrangement of stars.
A few things to know
No. This is generative art based on text. It does not use astronomical observations, your birthday, or your location, and it makes no predictions about personality or the future.
The generator uses a fixed mathematical rule instead of random star positions. Case does not matter, but punctuation, internal spaces, and the order of characters do. The animated background is separate from your pattern.
A single Unicode code point creates one star with no connecting lines. Some emoji consist of several code points and can create several stars. The input accepts up to 60 characters as counted by your browser.
Download PNG saves a 1600 × 1000 image with your complete constellation and its title. Copy share link creates a URL that recreates your text and pattern. The link contains your text, so avoid sharing private information.
The generator processes text in your browser without sending it to a generation server. There is no account or saved gallery. Shared text is stored in the link’s fragment. Read our privacy notice for hosting and external-link details.
